SQL Database Administrator

We are currently looking for a new colleague for the position of SQL Database Administrator — someone who enjoys bringing order and transparency to data management, values the importance of teams always working with the right information, and appreciates well-structured, efficient processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting data migration: data extraction, loading, and automation setup
- Supporting the selection of database management systems: identifying pros and cons, preparing evaluation criteria
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining SQL databases
- Developing database monitoring processes
- Identifying and resolving database-related issues
- Preparing and maintaining up-to-date documentation (e.g., configurations, maintenance, security procedures)
- Supporting developers, operators, and automated testers
- Creating and testing recovery plans
- Developing and implementing a backup strategy in a banking environment
- Integrating Oracle/MS SQL release management into banking processes
- Database hardening
- Log analysis
- Access control and permission management
- Knowledge sharing/training (for internal DB administrators)
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of DBA experience (Oracle and MS SQL)
- Experience in data migration
- Experience supporting test automation
- Performance optimization expertise
- Strong problem-solving skills and a constructive mindset
